Mama Dip’s Kitchen, a monumental and traditional Southern Cuisine eatery, will launch its new and improved website this week, designed and developed by Riithink, a Chapel Hill-based digital marketing agency.

Mama Dip’s is located on West Rosemary Street in Chapel Hill, and stands as a staple in the community. The savory aroma of crispy, seasoned chicken promptly alerts the area when it’s lunch or dinnertime, and the famous fixins’ have been enjoyed for decades.

Last November marked Mama Dip’s 40th anniversary, celebrating forty successful years of watching her business’s legacy grow from humble beginnings. Starting with a modest $64 to her name and the opportunity to revive a prior failed restaurant in the area, Mama Dip’s has gone on to publish two books, where she generously shares hundreds of family secret recipes, and has even made several TV and media appearances, including being featured on Good Morning America, the QVC Network, Travel Channel’s ‘Food Paradise’, Southern Living Magazine, and the Food Network’s ‘Cooking Live’ segment with Sara Moulton!

Riithink founder Patrick Smith says Riithink has had the pleasure of working with two generations of Mildred (“Mama Dip”) Council’s family, including her daughters, Spring and Annette, and her granddaughter, Tonya, on a number of web design and digital marketing projects.
