AI search optimization

Getting your brand found and recommended inside ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity, and knowing how often it happens.

How do AI assistants decide which brands to recommend?

They draw on what they were trained on, and on what they can retrieve and read while answering.

That gives you two ways in. The first is being written about somewhere credible enough to be in the training data and in the sources these tools reach for. The second is having your own pages readable and quotable when an assistant browses to check something.

Neither is a trick you apply once. An assistant naming three agencies in your category is reflecting what it has read across many sources. Changing that means changing what is out there, which is closer to public relations than to traditional SEO.

  • Accurate, consistent business listings
  • Reviews and comparison pages
  • Your category, your terms

What we do

  1. 01Visibility baselineWe ask the assistants the questions your buyers ask and record what they say today, so change is measurable.
  2. 02Crawler accessMaking sure GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and Google-Extended can reach the pages you want quoted. Many sites block them by accident.
  3. 03Content for retrievalPages written to be read by a machine and a person at once: clear claims, real numbers, no padding.
  4. 04Structured dataOrganization, Product and FAQ markup that agrees with the visible text.
  5. 05Off-site presenceGetting mentioned accurately where these tools look, including directories, comparisons and trade coverage.
  6. 06MonitoringRe-running the same prompts monthly, so you can see whether you are being named more often.

Questions people ask

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend my brand?

No, and nobody can. These systems do not expose a ranking you can buy or edit. What you can do is make your brand easier to find, easier to quote and more often mentioned in the places they read, then measure whether the answers change.

Should I block AI crawlers?

If you want to be cited, no. Blocking GPTBot or ClaudeBot keeps your pages out of the answers those tools give. Publishers protecting paid content decide differently. It is a business decision, and we will lay out both sides.

Does this replace SEO?

No. Assistants still lean heavily on search results and on sites that rank. SEO is the foundation. This is what sits on top of it.

How do you measure it?

We keep a fixed set of prompts a buyer might use, run them across the major assistants on a schedule, and record which brands get named and how you are described. It is a repeatable measurement rather than a guess.
